Biocare Folguard is the ideal dietary supplement for women providing both folic acid and vitamin B12. Folic acid and vitamin B12 are best when taken together as when folic acid is taken alone, it can hide vitamin B12 deficiency and anaemia.
Folic acid has many benefits including maintaining a healthy functioning nervous system, regulating hystamine levels in the body, aiding the growth and reproduction of cells including red blood cells, helping to regulate cell growth in the gastrointestinal tract and is also heavily involved in the function of RNA and DNA during protein synthesis. Folic acid is required by women both prior to and during a pregnancy.
