Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance which is found in every cell of the human body. It plays a crucial role in energy production and protection of cells. Research has shown, that the average human needs 500mg of Coenzyme Q10 daily. The average diet only provides around 5mg. This leaves us to make our own within the body. However, as we get older, get ill, get stressed and make poor diet choices, our ability to do this lowers.
