Bobs Red Mill was established nearly 40 years ago by Bob and his wife Charlee in Milwaukie, Oregon. Since then, Bob and his wife have been making the very best quality foods using the very best quality ingredients available. Bob uses whole grain and never processed oats and this is where all of its nutritional health benefits comes from. Bob also always uses our quartz millstones as this helps ensure the most nutritious parts of the whole grain remain. Unlike the modern, high-speed steel rollers which can remove the most nutritious part of the grain. This is because the millstones grind at a slow speed and cool temperature which helps preserves the nutrients and flavour.
