Nature's Aid Red Yeast Rice

Nature's Aid Red Yeast Rice 333mg 30's

Red Yeast rice has a history of traditional use throughout Asia. It is a fermented rice that studies have shown may help reduce cholesterol when taken alongside a balanced diet due to the presence of monacolin K. Just 10mg of monacolin K per day is thought to help to reduce LDL (bad cholesterol). Natures Aid fill every capsule with 333mg of Fermented red yeast rice, yielding 10mg of monacolin K. Although working to reduce cholesterol, Monacolin K can inadvertently lower the body’s production of Coenzyme Q10. For this reason we do recommend taking a good quality coenzyme Q 10 supplement when taking a course of red yeast rice. Coenzyme Q10 produces energy in the body, as well as playing an important role in heart and muscle health.
